Memories

So I saw this post on one of my friend's blog and it seemed like an interesting idea. You don't have to make a post of it on your own blog if you don't feel like. You can leave a picture of me and/or Rikky-whatever floats your boat.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

There are so many memories, but one of the ones that really sticks out is driving with you and mom to St. George after you broke your arm, and watching it get set. You were so brave and young. I think you handled it better than mom and I did. Poor sad arm.

This is a fun post idea. I'll probbaly do my own in a few days.

I remember volleyball camp (that's this week's theme) when we had to carry all of our luggage up the stairs and I was so out of shape that it was killing me and when I was all done all I could do was lay on the bed with my arm still tangled in my duffel bag strap and sing "Don't you want somebody to love". You were much tougher than I was (shocking). I think you just laughed at me.

I don't quite know why I thought of that particular memory. It always makes me giggle though.

Hmmm a memory de Maren. Here's a good one: crying outside in the dirt of the Ramona house lamenting the passing of our poor fat cat Midnight. Weird we would ever care that much about an animal (though not surprising for you I suppose- you have a much more tender heart than I).

I remember Midnight too, but I guess her death didn't hit me as hard as it did you. I remember feeling like I'd been at BYU way too long when you showed up there. =) Ryan

Oh the memories of freshman year at BYU! It was such a fun year filled with late nights, dance parties in the hall, and visiting teaching of course! My favorite memory of visiting your room was when I would come I could play on the excercise ball you and Amy had in your room, ha ha! Also, I would ask you all the time if you could hear the toilets flushing; I am so weird. I'm so glad our friendship has lasted! ;)
Oh, we made our blog private so if you want to keep looking at it send me your email address and I will add you: sethandbrittney@gmail.com

I remember sitting on your bed tucking you in at night and you had TONS of bunnies (stuffed animals) and wanted to tell me all their names each night. I think all the names started with "F." And I listened because I loved to see the eagerness in your face!

Hmm... so many Hinckley Hotty adventures to choose from! I think one of the most memorable was when those three boys-- what were their names? Like Mike, Derek, and Lincoln? All had crushes on you and they all thought they were taking you to Prom and by some miraculous twist of fate they all planned on picking you up at 7:00 at our dorms? And you had never said yes to any of them so they all got in a fight with eachother and that one guy had to go to the hospital ad he was screaming your name the whole time, "Maren!!! I will always love you!!!!!" That was kind of a crazy night.... Did you ever tell your husband about that one? I'll never forget it! :)
